It all depends, of course, on how much money you have for a gift. The fastest is to buy a subscription, for example:
Audible Premium Plus with access to Audible originals and bestsellers if you're shopping for a book lover or podcast listener www.audible.com/
Amazon Music Unlimited for the music lover. Since a subscription is free for the first three months, you can gift someone six months for just $30 www.amazon.com/
obé Fitness Membership is a great fitness gift (from pilates to dance HIIT) obefitness.com/
Rosetta Stone LIFETIME subscription to access unlimited languages for only $179 if the person has a resolution to learn a new language (or a few) www.rosettastone.com/
Masterclass Subscription, $15 per month if the curious-minded and lover of learning new things person. The platform offers a variety of quality classes taught by top experts, including cooking with Gordon Ramsay www.masterclass.com/
Disney+ Subscription if the person who loves Disney and all things Mickey and Minnie www.disneyplus.com/
I always have extra items at home that I can whip up into a gift. Like a beauty Gift basket, food basket, or toy basket.
I give cash or a gift card when it is last minute and I want to make sure the recipient can use it.
Digital memberships or gift cards are an easy way to send something to someone who is far away. If I am seeing them in person, I would rather give them something tangible. Plus, lots of local stores would appreciate the last minute sale as so many people shop online nowadays.
Most people appreciate food items, which are often on sale right before Christmas. Or perhaps a decorative item for their home or desk. A potted plant, like a Christmas cactus or orchid, or even a kit for a bulb to grow inside this winter.
If the recipient is a child, I would try to find a suitable toy, game or craft set. For teens, I usually give money or gift cards. For a whole family, I would set up a gift basket, maybe with a theme like movie night or game night.
