Ingredients:
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Mix milk, butter and 2 cups sugar in saucepan, heating to boiling point.
Melt 1 cup sugar in saucepan stirring constantly.
Cook to soft ball stage.
Add vanilla and nuts; beat until very firm.
Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan.
Yield: 40 pieces.

Sounds delicious.....at what point do you add the melted sugar with the milk, butter and sugar mixture?

The directions were not clear. 2pans, or add the sugar to the first pan???? Then add to the second???
