Christmas Card Paper Dresses

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

• old Christmas cards
• scissors
• trims, beads, and lace
• a cut out shape of a dress
• glue

Steps:

1. I took old Christmas cards and cut off the fronts.
2. Then I used one of the card backs to cut out a basic dress shape.
3. Next, I cut out dresses from the fronts of different cards.
4. Finally, I glued lace, trim, beads, and even cut outs from the cards to make the little dresses. I have them hanging like a garland down a wall.

That is too cute. You could also make stars, bells, balls, trees and cookie cutter shapes. What a great project for the kids or grand kids with supervision of course. You could also make the shapes and tape or glue them to a garland and hang from a window.

If the shapes are the exact same, you could make them back to back so each view could be pretty, or sprinkle glitter on the backs so what you see is cool, too.

Now, you need to make the dolls for paper dolls for little girls to play with. Love your idea, wish I had known it when I was a little girl. I loved my paper dolls.
