I need help with a few Christmas gifts for my 2 granddaughters. One is 2 the other is 14. Is there anywhere I can get assistance?

Since you are the grandmother and not the parent you may not qualify for all of the "toy" programs as these are usually given to families that do not have sufficient resources to buy gifts for their children.
Still - someone may bend the rules and help you out but many of these programs have already given away their goods as most programs are over by the 15th of December.
Your local church may be able to help you as well as some of your local non-profit thrift stores (Hospice, Habitat, Salvation Army, Goodwill, any church thrift store).
You will just have to go in person and ask for help but I would suggest you do this very soon.

Have you thought about shopping your home for the 14 year old and giving her something that has a sentimental meaning that she can love forever? Maybe a pretty candy dish or a necklace or a trinket that you have that she has admired. When I was 14 my nana had some lovely figurines that I always admired and I would have loved to have been gifted one of those while she was still with us, rather than the way I got them after she passed.
Another thing for the 14 year old, is to write her a special letter and share a story with her that she can cherish forever. Yes, it is not a gift card or some cool hip happening thing, but it is the type of gift she will grow to love.
The 2 year old is a little harder to shop your home but it is not impossible. When my nephews were little, they loved to play with some of the stuffed animals I had from when I was young. If you have something like that (that is safe for a 2 year old since safety standards have changed a lot over the years)...perhaps that is something you could give the 2 year old. They also used to love to play with my crayons and paper. You could cut open several brown paper bags into sheets or cute shapes and give get a box of crayons at the dollar store and create a nice coloring set.
As a final suggestion, could you bake the family a box of their favorite cookies and gift that to them for the holidays? I love home baked goodies and I bet they would too!
