I am in need of ideas for a Christmas float for our annual Christmas parade. The parade theme is "A Musical Christmas". The float can be based on a particular Christmas song or an actual Christmas movie or musical. All suggestions welcome.

Why don't you try a music box? You could do a nutcracker theme, and use a ballerina or an actual nut cracker, or a sugar plum fairy! You could also do nativity scene and make it play away in the manger. (11/03/2009)

I think that the Twelve Days of Christmas would be a good float. You could use a living room scene for the float complete with Christmas tree. Then add all of the items in the song. (11/05/2009)

I would think "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" would be good. Have the Nativity set out on the float and people dressed up or have sheep and pigs and animals around the area. Then have the 3 Wise Men, and the song playing or the people singing it. Plus it would bring the "true" meaning of Christmas to the hearts of many! (11/05/2009)
