I have known my boyfriend for 10 years. This is our first Christmas together as a couple and I have no idea what to get him. He's 31 and loves sports, but has everything he needs. I'm at a complete loss. Any suggestions?

Get him a "silly" sports gift. Or maybe get him a new item that would replace one he has used so much it is worn out (that would be past broke in).

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 14 months, I am 17 and he is 20. He likes playing PC games, but has everything. He isn't a very needy person and says I can buy him anything because he will like it because it's from me. I don't want to get him gift cards because he won't know what to buy. I also don't want to give him something that's too girly like a photo frame or album. He's a guy who is hardcore and likes action. What should I do?

Maybe instead of "getting something" for him you could try to buy tickets or set up a time and pay to do something active and fun together. Depending on where you live, maybe something like paying for a session in a paintball or laser tag place, then going together as a date? Weather-permitting, you could surprise him by renting a kayak or something and spend a day on a lake or river, or rent or borrow bikes and go on a bike trail he has never been on, stuff like that. Then you could wrap up the tickets or a note with an invitation of the place/time/activity that you guys will do together.
This would be especially good if he has hobbies that you don't normally participate in. For instance, if he likes a certain sport, or hunting or fishing, or something like that and you won't normally go with him, arrange it and then go with him and show a real interest in it. If it's an outdoor activity, you could prepare a meal that he likes to eat, pack it up picnic-style, but without any girly fru-fru picnic stuff. Just some ideas since you said he likes action.
My boyfriend and I are both 15 and have been dating for over a year now. This will be our 2nd Christmas together. He's really into Penn State things. He doesn't want for anything and only has a couple interests. He's not big on sports, but really athletic. I tend to think for every special event I get him something to do with Penn State. I'm a good baker, but I don't want anything too cheesy. He has already gotten my gift, well, at least part of it. I want to give him something really special and from the heart.
How about tickets to a game for the two of you?
