Does anyone have an idea of what sweet thing I could make on Christmas morning for my family?

Homemade crepes filled with chestnut puree, a bit of strawberry jam and real whipping cream, drizzled with maple syrup. Decadent and Delicious !! Hard boiled eggs on the side to sop up the gooey maple syrup left on the plate is wonderful too.
We didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid but Christmas and Easter mornings were special days. I'm a senior now, and do this for my grandkids. A family tradition lives on.
To keep things easier on the morning, I often make the crepes the day before and in the morning, just sprinkle them with water before re-heating them in the oven. Re-heating in the microwave makes the crepes too floppy.
I suggest "Holiday Morning French Toast." It's a sweet, fruity, syrupy make-ahead breakfast casserole. You make it the night before and put it in the oven the next morning. I can't seem to find my recipe right now, but there are lots of recipes out there. I like the one made with dried cranberries and apples. Just try doing an internet search for "Holiday Morning French Toast" if you're interested.
Hi, I make Texas French toast, but give it a nice seasoning of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and brown sugar to the egg mixture, whip it up good, let the bread soak really good before putting it in the hot pan. Turn heat down to medium, the sugar can make it burn.
What about a sweet roll ring that could be assembled the night before and baked Christmas morning? Our tradition is coffee and sausage biscuits.
Overnight French toast. There are many recipes. I like this one because you can enjoy Christmas morning without being in the kitchen
