Ingredients:

  • 1 (21 oz.) can of Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (I use No Fat)
  • 2 (8 oz.) cartons whipped topping -- Cool Whip.
  • 1 (16 oz.) can of Crushed Pineapple
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (your choice)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Directions

Combine all ingredients BUT DO NOT DRAIN PINEAPPLE. Mix well, refrigerate for 3 hours before serving, be sure to chill well.

A great Christmas salad!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkg. lemon gelatin (3oz.)
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 8oz. cream cheese
  • chopped nuts
  • chopped celery
  • 8oz. Cool Whip

Directions:

Make gelatin in mixing bowl. When slightly thickened, add other ingredients. At last minute, add Cool Whip.

Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes

Frozen Christmas Salad I

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs. cream cheese (3 oz. size)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup cream, whipped
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz. size) drained
  • 1/2 cup red maraschino cherries, diced
  • 1/2 cup green maraschino cherries, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. pineapple flavoring
  • 2 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Directions

Soften cream cheese to room temperature. Blend with mayonnaise until smooth. fold in whipped cream (or whipped topping) and gently stir in pineapple, cherries, pineapple flavoring and marshmallows. Spoon into 1 qt. freezer tray. Freeze until firm. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves. This is a generous amount, serving 10-12 nicely.

Frozen Christmas Salad II

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sweet cherries
  • 1/2 cup red maraschino cherries, cut up
  • 1/4 cup green maraschino cherries, cut up
  • 1/4 cup orange sections, cut up
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped

Directions

Soften cheese, blend with mayonnaise. Add red and green maraschino cherries along with the remaining fruit and nuts. Fold whipped cream into mixture. Spoon into a pan; cover tightly. Place in freezer. To serve, unmold and slice into cubes or slices. Makes 10 to 12 servings
