Because I was given a lot of fabric, and I generally make and distribute treats to friends and neighbors at Christmas time every year, I decided to change it up a little and made these "car kits" with hand sanitizer, kleenex, and masks to keep handy in the car.
Total Time: 1 hour
Yield: 1

Supplies:
- fabric
- thread
- scissors
- pins
- large button
- circular velcro
Steps:
- Using the pattern on the link, pin and cut two pieces of fabric (you can use coordinating fabric). You can also cut a layer of batting, but I didn't think it was necessary so I chose to use just the fabric. Pin right sides together all the way around, leaving a 3 to 4 inch opening for turning (at the bottom is best).
- Sew around the pieces. Clip corners and turn right side out. Slip stitch opening closed. Fold rectangular part up to end of triangular piece. Pin on each side and sew the two side seams. Turn right side out. At this point you can sew a piece of velcro to the middle top of the rectangular piece and the other side of the velcro to the underneath side of the triangular piece to hold the clutch together. A button can be sewn on the top side of the triangular piece for decorative purposes.
- The last step is to sew "pockets" on the rectangular piece to fit the size of the items you want to put in the pockets. I chose pocket kleenex, small hand sanitizers, and masks.
