This a simple and cute ornament that looks like a carnation. All you need is a ball, some glue, and some cupcake liners. I like using metallic liners because they reflect light very nicely!
Total Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 1 ornament
Supplies:
- 1 hollow ball or Styrofoam ball
- 1 needle or nail
- piece of string
- cupcake liners
- hot glue gun with glue
Steps:
- Poke a hole into the ball with a needle.
- Stick both ends of the piece of string into the hole.
- Hot glue the hole shut with a drop of hot glue.
- Grab a cupcake liner and bunch it up with your fingers.
- Put hot glue on the base of the cupcake liner then stick onto the ball. Continue all the way around.

Very cute! I had a lot of cupcake liners from butter cookies. I tossed them all out though.
