Fabric is a great reusable wrapping paper solution. It is a sustainable and thrifty gift wrap choice. You have to spend a little more up front, but as long as you get most of the wrapping fabric back, you can continue to reuse it for years to come.
I have always disliked spending money on wrapping paper only for it to be ripped up and thrown away. Okay, some of us do carefully open the paper and save it, but it never looks as great as it did the first time. Last Christmas I said "no" to wrapping paper and spent a little extra and bought nice fabric to wrap all my gifts in. This year, I don't have to worry about wrapping paper since it is waiting for me right there in my Christmas box.
I suggest buying a fabric that has stretch to it, it makes it easier to wrap and make sure there aren't any peeking holes. Another good fabric choice would be something that is double sided.

This is a great idea! I am tired of storing rolls of wrapping paper, I believe I will buy fabric for this purpose. I can sometimes find fabric for $1-$2 a yard.
