This cute little penguin is a great ornament for any tree.
Supplies:
- felt
- cardboard (food packaging)
- scissors
- embroidery floss
- needle
Steps:
- Fold the cardboard in half and draw half of the penguin along the folded edge to create a symmetrical shape. You can either cut out the middle of the body template (for the two-tone body) or draw another template for the white part. Also create a template for the beak and feet. (I used the same shape for both.)
- Sew the white part of the body on. Then attach the beak and feet. Create eyes using French knots.
- If you want to use these as traditional ornaments you will need to attach a loop of ribbon to the top for hanging them. Have fun!
