Gold Post Medal for All Time! 899 Posts With just a few supplies, a computer, and a printer it is super easy to make small pieces of custom tissue paper for the holidays!
Supplies:
- tissue paper
- cardstock
- tape
- scissors
- computer and printer
Steps:
- Cut the tissue down into pieces slightly bigger than the piece of cardstock. Most sheets of tissue can be cut into quarters.
- If necessary, use an iron to smooth out the sheets of tissue.
- Lay the tissue on top of the cardstock. Then fold the edges of the tissue to the backside of the cardstock and tape them down well. Repeat for all 4 sides.
- Find an image you want to use online and bring it into a program to create an all over pattern. Then load the paper into the printer with the tissue side in the proper direction to be printed on. (NOTE: We brought the tree image into a Google doc, then copied and pasted them all of the document, rotating them as seen below.)
- Carefully remove the tape from the tissue to remove it from the cardstock. Then trim away the unprinted edges.
- Leave it as a whole sheet or trim it into smaller pieces for a fun design over a solid piece of paper. Have fun!!
