I have a tree with 3 sections. One strand of lights on each section will not work. Can someone help? I have changed the fuse and checked out the lights. None are missing. I am ready to toss it in the backyard.

If you have changed out the fuses on the lights and still have this issue then it could be an alignment problem. These trees need to align in certain holes in order for the light to work correctly. The lights work on a daisy chain which means that they need to have connections in order to work right. If one of the connectors is not making contact then the lights will not work at all. Check the way the tree is put together and make sure all the lights are plugged in correctly.
This may sound like a dumb question, but did you try it in another outlet/plug? We have double stack outlet/plugs and found that in a few (old house) the bottom one would work but the top one would not.
You may have stackable plugs and you just need to fit the plugs tighter. Other causes are here www.christmaslightsetc.com/
