I'm pretty late with Christmas decorations this time. There is no time to buy new Christmas balls, travel time takes longer than shopping so I'd rather spend it making an alternative holiday tree ornament.
Supplies:
- colorful washi tapes
- empty plastic bottles
- cutters
- hot glue
- string or paper strips
Steps:
- Let's start by separating the body of the plastic bottle from its head and bottom. Set aside the bottom parts that might come handy for the next project.
- Choose a color and wrap washi tape around the body of the bottle.
- Make as many wraps as you can on one bottle body. Then cut it in half.
- Cut the bottle into strips following the width of the washi tape.
- Seal the cut on each strip with the same tape to form a circle.
- Now, glue one circle to another in a cross position.
- Arrange four circles to form a ball. Or if four is too crowded you may create a set of three instead of four.
- Turn the glued portion down and attach a string or piece of paper strip into one of the circles - usually the one on the top layer.
- Make as many balls as you can. Then start decorating your homes with these colorful ornaments.

I like this because it don't take a lot of time to make them?
