The Most Glorious Birthday

Once again Christmas will be enjoyed by us all. The many Christmas gifts we will be shopping for, the many delightful packages we place beneath our beautiful trees with all the lights and decorations that we have waited a full year to bring out and share with our family and friends.

I hope that once the tree is decorated, all the food is cooked and waiting, the presents given out, that we can set aside all the fancy clothes, the fancy skates, the expensive toys and jewelery, that most of us really can do without, and cherish the one true meaning of the word "Christmas". "Christ" was born on this day, and we should bow our heads in celebration and be grateful we have reason to celebrate the most powerful birth of all. For without "Him", we would not have anything to celebrate.
