Can my pre-lit Balsam Hill Christmas tree work without the remote? Can I just somehow plug it into the wall and not worry about color changing and bypass the remote some? If so how? I lost mine and can't afford to order/buy one and I am stuck with a pretty tree with no lights.

Does this tree have a remote receiver box? I know that if you are using a remote that the remote receiver box needs to be plugged into the wall socket. If you try to just plug in the tree and not the remote receiver box this might work for you.
You could probably get a universal remote at the Dollar Tree or Freecycle.
These are such beautiful trees!
