I'm a single mother of a 13 year old child. All of the charities I have located to ask for help for the holidays have turned me down because my girl is 13. Doesn't she deserve a good Christmas as well as children 12 and under.

The charities have to draw the line some place. A kid only needs one gift from their parents and it doesn't have to have a designer label or or be something in the line of electronics. You can even find good quality things at thrift stores and some of it is new.
Doesn't your daughter have grandparents, aunts and uncles? I would think some of them would be getting gifts for her. Also you could speak to you pastor, sometimes they will take up a special offering for a needy member of the congregation.
Just want to say yes all children have grand parants Aunt uncles other family excetera but not all family help one another.just saying.don't judge people we don't don't know
I believe responder redhatterb has just about said it all... Maybe there is still time to follow some of her suggestions?
Maybe I can help you a little bit. I am not rich, but I also have a 13 year old daughter. What does she like? I can probably send a couple gifts for her.
This pulls at my heart we need more people like you in this world. God bless you and happy holidays.
