During the holidays I end up burning more candles or even lighting tea lights around the house. It is festive to see all the bright lights from the tree and other decorations around your home. This year I wanted to give my friends and family some candle holders they could place on their dinner table for Christmas.
I make faux drip wax candle holders and wanted something a bit different. That was when I came up with the idea to make silhouette candle holders and add a Christmas image to the glass. When you light the tea light the image comes out. These are so simple to make and a lot of fun to use around your home or give to others to enjoy.
Total Time: 4 to 5 hours

I'm confused. The jar should look like the final picture? Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand this craft. Also, how many of us have a jot air gun? Would a blow dryer for hair work?
I was making a set of these jars to hand out for the holidays. I was taking photos and writing up the post. I guess that is why the jar does not look the same. For your other question, I have used a hair dyer to make this craft. It will take a little longer to do the project and that is the reason I use the hot air gun.
