With Christmas coming up soon, I thought I'd pass on this snowflake craft idea.
I've had many foster kids and they all enjoy this activity. I've thought about using the "snow in a can" but don't know how it would hold up. The white ones look really nice when sprayed with a little bit of spray glitter too. We've used both the small puzzle pieces with the small sticks, or larger pieces with larger sticks! They really look nice when all done!

What a great idea! I bet they really enjoyed making those! They sound like they would really be pretty!
Oooh, that's a great idea!! I really love it! You could make a bunch and hang them from different lengths on the porch or something....ideas are flowing! Thanks a TON!!
Oh that sounds like a fantastic idea! Is there any way you could post a photo of the finished product?
Several years ago we used puzzle pieces for a wreath. I cut out a circle with a circle out of the middle (Donut shape). We just put the puzzle pieces on this as a template, stacked and glued them together.
this is another great sounding craft.
I have neighbor kids and can make some snowflakes with them to hang in their windows.
The great thing is that is such a low cost project.
Thank you.
Frugal tip for this craft:
recycle shops may give away puzzles that are turned in as cardboard.
same thing goes for thrift stores.
