Christmas Ornaments in the Trees

We have a tradition at our house after our Thanksgiving meal; our adult children and grandchildren hang large Christmas ornaments in the trees in our yard.

The ornaments are hung from wire coat hangers that have been taken apart and a "hook" has been been made at one end to hold the ornament and the top of the hanger is used to hang in the tree. Festive Christmas ribbon is used to adorn the ornaments, therefore adding extra color.

It is a lovely sight to see these ornaments hanging from the trees in our yard and lots of memories are made during this time with our family.
