12 Days of Christmas Gift Ideas?

I have a family of 2 moms and 2 daughters. I would like to surprise them with 12 Days of Christmas gifts left at their door step, without them knowing who it is. I am the worst gift buyer ever. Any thoughts?

You don't say what the ages are of the mom's or daughters but you could get gloves, candles, postage stamps car wash gift card, finger nail polish kit, a picture frame, a journel to write in, socks, lotions, kitchen towels, CD of music or a movie video, wind chimes, lip balms, etc. I think you get the idea, just you would know what each person might like or use! Good luck and hope this helps.

a family video/dvd
board game
little stockings with candy
bubble bath
cute socks
gift certificates for small treats (McDonalds for a box of cookies or happy meal, krispy kreme, etc)
gas card

Just take a leisurely stroll through the store & see what you can come up with, you never know what you'll find.

I'm thinking. Worst gift giver, 12 days of Christmas--I'm assuming you are in the spirit of the song, but not wanting to follow the days of the song. No idea how old the moms or daughters are.

Age appropriate gifts are the focus. Also, don't pay attention to things like "I wish I was the Queen/Princess," (not that it happens,) but pay attention to things like, "I love baking this type of bread," or "I like sewing this or that," and find out what items are needed to make it happen. I love gardening. I love history. I love reading. I wish I could make Lasagna--do they need an appropriate baking dish? Maybe they want a cookbook. Maybe it's knitting or sewing, crochet, or embroidery? Maybe it's photography?

No mention of the girls ages. How old are the girls? Are they coloring age? Are they painting by number age? Are they Easy-bake-oven age?" Maybe the girls would love gardening, history, reading, cooking, knitting, crochet, embroidery, photography? Or something else.

You need to know their interests/interest before you begin your "12 days of Christmas."

If I had money, and was doing the twelve days of Christmas, I might give someone Lasagna noodles one day, then another day, give them an herb, more herbs, spices, and toward the end, I'd give them the dish if they didn't have it, then the cheeses, and finally the meat and then we'd put it all together at the end. Throw some flowers in there somewhere.

But for the girls, there's no way of knowing because of their ages. Age appropriate gifts.

Find out what is hobby appropriate. One hobby might need crochet hooks, another hobby might need film, another hobby might need water colors, or paints, or paint brushes, or a cookbook.

Start thinking hobbies, and what those hobbies require, and what you'd like in your own hobby, what those you love would like in their own hobby, and you will become a wonderful gift giver that everybody loves, and they will start appreciating what you want, too.

If you're still really confused, just stick to the 12 days of Christmas, and give them the 12 lords a leepin',decorations I mean, all the way down the list.
