Here are some ways that I refresh old ornaments... I use decorative trim (bought on clearance from the previous Christmas) I paint them and also use permanent markers to draw different disigns and write sayings on them.. I have given lots of these away as gifts... everyone loves them.. hope this will inspire someone... thanks

A new coat of paint on an ornament will enhance it. Buy stick on letters, make a short name or initials on the ornament, glue ribbon around the ornament for a fresher look, glue small items such as stick on butterflies, doves, artificial feathers, artificial pine cones and boughs.

The large ornaments can be refreshed with larger decorations.
