Paper Clip Christmas Tree Garland

1. Dip sticky cheap paper clips into glitter.

2. Let dry.

3. Clip clips together as to your length and color preference.

4. Hang on Christmas tree. The tree lights will reflect the glitter.

Also, just how do you get the paperclips sticky? Dip them in glue? tacky glue?

What kind of glue do you use? ...Also, wouldn't it work better to first string them together before adding the glitter individually?

This Christmas ornament is all a new project for me. Have a workable piece of paper aluminum foil ,tube's of spinkle glitter & paper clips handy when working with any type of adhevisive craft project. Take it from there. Use your overage of glitter glue, even craft paints, elmers glue on fingers or work suface,etc...Glitter it & spray with adhevsive.

This is an idea that you can expand on. It does make me smile, knowing CHRISTMAS tree lights love glitter. I hope to be able to understand using my 1st digitial camera, printer & computer for pictures soon. Also;maybe outside -- kinda hidden & clipped or hung too small tree branches ,as the sun will reflect the glitter.

Clever! I would guess that sticky glue is the glue you used? Elmer's Glue would run as it dried & hot glue would drip. Using a glue stick would give you more control over where you would want the glitter to stay on the paper clip.
