Glittery Wooden Clothes Pins for Christmas Ornaments

Spray pin with cheap white paint and use what ever coloring items you want. Good for chip bag clips, refrigerator magnets (glue a strip of magnetic piece to pin). I like glitter for Christmas tree ornaments. When clipped on to pine tree the tree lights really reflect the glitter.

We lost all our Christmas stuff in a house fire one year and bought all new ornaments the next. Then the tree fell over and broke all it's balls (my mom says never again will we get a male tree). So we started getting glittery and metallic curling ribbon and curling a foot or so strips of them and hang them with paperclips. It looks like an early new years tree as well and has turned into a cheap easy fun family tradition.

Another cool idea is to get strip magnets, some washers (the little metal disks with hole in them), some tacky glue, and print out on paper the following:

Worlds Cheapest
Washer and Dryer!!

If you minimize the font till it's pretty tiny, you can print about 100 on a piece of paper. Leave enough room on the right side of the paper so your pin doesn't cover the words. You then cut them out, and while you open the bottom part of the pin to put the paper inside, just a rice size drop of glue on the back of the paper keeps the words from ever coming out.
Glue the magnet to the back and the washer to the front and you have a cute gift.

You can also print on the front, "Penny Pincher" and put a penny inside the grip. With a magnet on the back, the whole thing costs about 10 cents!!
