A Tiny Gift to Enclose

At Christmas, I was signing cards and found more than a few I'd like to endow with a 'tiny' gift. I enclosed a flavored tea bag or two and got nice responses. This is a relatively inexpensive treat, since they come in various sized boxes.

It only takes one cup with a note 'for a little rest and relaxation'. People do enjoy it!

What a great idea... and it could be anytime at all, even "Just thinking of you" card. Did it take extra postage?

There are also patterns on the net for "envelopes" for tea bags. These help keep the tea bag from exploding all over the inside of the card, and keep it clean if you do as I do and open you mail in the car and tend to dump enclosures!

You can make your own with just a little thought. I print mine on the computer and sometimes don't bother with the card!

I've received teabags as a "tuck-in" in an occasional trade of coupons from a pal. They were such a nice idea! I'd never thought of doing that before. I've done it since.

My dear late sister did this for years. She had her birthday, anniversary, thinking of you & get well cards made out for the month and left them at the foot of the stairs. That way she'd pick up that weeks outgoing mail on the way to work.

At her memorial service many people told how much that ment to them over the years. I sent out tea bags to some of them ( that I had met) in her memory that next year. They were favorably received. GG Vi

I like tuck-ins too. At Christmas, I like to enclose crochet snowkflake ornaments. They lay nice & flat & don't weigh much. I had never thought of the tea bags. Very nice idea. Thank you.

Doing this when you include the tea is fun too.

"Think of me at half past three and we will share a cup of tea"...
