I converted a closet into a Holiday Pantry area. I have a large 3 drawer plastic bin unit to hold Christmas ornaments; small to large plastic bins plus plastic shoe boxes to hold other fragile Christmas items. I have hooks on the back of the closet door to hold wreaths or other hanging Christmas decor.

How do you ever get the artificial tree back into its original box? I've come close a couple of times but never made it. Finally found a larger box that is really a bit too large but seems better than too small.
The Christmas tree is a tabletop tree and the tree limbs fold up on themselves. The stand is detachable and is stored in the box along with the electrical cord.
I am posting a picture of my decorated tree to show the size.
I wish I had a closet just to stor my decorations and stuff in!!! I need more storage space AAAAAHHHHH!!!
I also have closets for Christmas holidays, like the poster was talking about; decorations are kept in the same place, so not to have to figure out where we put them. Most of the presents are bought throughout the year, when the prices are low; I do, however, buy most of my husband's gifts starting this month, and take advantage of the special pricing and free shipping offers during the holidays.
