Put Your Tree in a Playpen

My mom did this for years. She put a card table inside of the play pen and then put the tree on top. My dad wired the top of the tree to a hook in the ceiling.

Then she put the gifts under the card table. This not only protected the tree and gifts from nosy kids but the dog as well.
