Christmas stocking stuffers can be purchased all througout the year and saved for Christmas Eve. I keep a bag under my bed of "treasures" I find throughout the year. When the Christmas season comes, I already have most of the stocking stuffers and don't need to spend money on those at a time when money is already getting tighter than usual.

I do the same thing. The best time to find good deals is after Christmas or for that matter, after any holiday. I always check out the "clearance" racks/tables anytime I go shopping.
I do the same and am always finding little things for my kids for every holiday. I also buy almost new and sometimes new items at garage sales. They don't know the difference. Sometimes I like to buy them little "incentive" type gifts or rewards.
My mom always does the same thing! All year, she buys at garage sales, thrift stores, etc. She even WRAPS all the presents right after buying them. Every year growing up, once we had opened everything, she would always say "I know I had something else, just don't remember where I put it."
