I need help for x-mas. We have no money to buy anything and don't have a car to get anywhere. I have two little girls 5 and 7. Can someone please suggest any organizations that I can contact to request Christmas help? Thank you and God bless you.

All area have the Salvation Army and Toys For Tots at a minimum. When times are hard any kid can get buy with just one gift and it doesn't have to be a big, expensive gift. One year my late Mother saw a picture in a magzine and went out in our grove of trees and found a good sized, wide tree branch that had fallen and spray painted it white, then put it in an empty coffee can filled with plaster of paris to stable the branch.
Check with area churches. I don't know about your area, but have heard of many churches that offer "adopt a family" programs where you sign up your family for another to "adopt" to help with Christmas gifts and foods.
Check with Catholic Charities - call a local Catholic Church if you can't find a local number for Catholic Charities. You don't have to be Catholic for them to help.
Ask at a local public library branch (the reference or information desk) if they have a list of other charitable organizations with specific Christmas giving programs. Also, ask the library for a list of any area food banks that can help with holiday meals, too.
Wishing you and your girls a Christmas filled with warmth and love.
Here's a link to Love, INC. It's a great charity with offices all over the country. Contact one near you. They'll be happy to help.
